🏛️ Why Local Voting Matters
Municipal government is the tier of public service that interacts most directly with your day-to-day life. The decisions made by your local Mayor, Council, and regional School Board trustees directly shape:
- Neighbourhoods & Infrastructure: Maintenance of local roads, transit networks, and water infrastructure.
- Community Services: Funding for parks, public libraries, recreation centers, and localized safety programming.
- Educational Environments: Structural priorities, budget management, and learning environments across public institutions.
- Growth Planning: Long-term zoning laws, commercial expansions, and real estate development.
