The City of Pickering has officially announced the return of its annual Summer Concert Series for July and August 2026. This free community tradition brings a diverse lineup of live entertainment to three scenic outdoor locations across the city.
Weekly Concert ScheduleWhether you’re looking for an evening by the lake or a sunny afternoon in the park, there’s a performance for everyone:
- Thursdays at the Waterfront
- Location: Millennium Square (end of Liverpool Road)
- Time: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
- Vibe: Enjoy live music and dancing with a beautiful lakeside backdrop.
- Fridays at Rick Johnson Memorial Park
- Location: 2631 Sapphire Drive
- Time: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
- Vibe: Perfect for families, often featuring extra fun like free face painting and games.
- Sundays in Esplanade Park

Calling All Performers!Are you a local musician or part of a band looking to take the stage? The City of Pickering is currently accepting applications for the 2026 season.
- Application Deadline: Sunday, April 12, 2026.
- Requirements: You must provide links to audio or video samples of your work as part of the evaluation.
- How to Apply: Submit your application through the City of Pickering website or email your samples directly to events@pickering.ca if they aren’t available online.
